Leadership Development Conference

For Late Shri Appa Pendse, Leadership was a subject of research and experimentation. He

built the education system and working system of Jnana Prabodhini around this subject.

Therefore, while working in the field of leadership, a Leadership Development Conference

was organized in 2016. Jnana Prabodhini Leadership Development Center is currently

working on administrative and social leadership aspects. Hence, to make this work more

excellent these to aspects of leadership / fields were selected in the conference. The main

theme of the conference was ‘Leadership Development Processes and Challenges’.

The two-day conference consisted of two two-hour daily reflective sessions and an open

session of experience sharing. The reflective session was preceded by a keynote address

followed by a discussion of all attendees. Each session was coordinated by a session

coordinator and discussion controller (content leader). The session was attended by 650-700

people approximately.
